At Norwell Oral Surgery and Dental Implant Center, we will provide an estimate of your insurance coverage at the time of treatment based on the information supplied to us by your carrier. Please note that this estimate does not serve as a guarantee of benefits or final payment amounts. As a convenience, our team will submit all insurance claims on your behalf. However, the ultimate financial responsibility for your care remains with you as the patient. Should the insurance payment differ from the original estimate, we will either bill you for the remaining balance or apply a credit to your account if an overpayment occurs. We also accept CareCredit financing to help make treatment more manageable. Your oral surgery and dental benefits are determined by the arrangement your employer has established with your insurance provider. We encourage you to review your benefit booklet from your employer so you have a clear picture of what your plan covers.

Coverage for oral surgery procedures varies widely between plans. The portion you are responsible for depends on the specifics of your employer-sponsored plan as well as the nature of your treatment needs. Not every plan covers every procedure, so it is important to understand your benefits before beginning care.

We ask that you bring your insurance card to your initial consultation with Dr. Helal or Dr. Colton at our Norwell office so our team can help verify your coverage and provide an estimate of any out-of-pocket costs.

Based on the information your insurance company shares with us, we will provide a treatment cost estimate at the time of your procedure. Please keep in mind that this estimate is not a guarantee of payment from your insurer. As a courtesy, our office will submit all claims on your behalf. Many employers also offer Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) or Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) that allow pre-tax contributions to be set aside for qualifying medical and dental expenses. These accounts can be an excellent way to cover oral surgery costs, and funds may be used for procedures performed at our Norwell, MA practice.

We ask that you please give our office a minimum of 48 hours advance notice if you need to reschedule an appointment. Cancellations made with fewer than 24 hours notice may incur a cancellation fee.
