Your First Visit to Our Oral Surgery Practice
At Norwell Oral Surgery and Dental Implant Center, we genuinely enjoy welcoming new patients from Norwell, Hingham, Weymouth, Hanover, and the surrounding South Shore communities. Our board-certified oral surgeons, Dr. Deeb Helal and Dr. Timothy Colton, are dedicated to making every patient feel at ease from the moment they arrive at our Norwell office. We recognize that visiting an oral surgery practice may feel unfamiliar, and our caring team is here to walk you through every step of your appointment.
Each patient who comes to our practice receives individualized attention. During your initial consultation, Dr. Helal or Dr. Colton will take the time to understand your concerns, review your dental and medical history, and discuss the goals you have for your oral health. Our office is equipped with advanced diagnostic technology, including Cone Beam 3D imaging and Digital X-Rays, so we can evaluate your condition with exceptional precision. If your referring dentist has provided records or imaging, we will incorporate those into our assessment.
We are excited to get to know you and begin working toward a healthier, more confident smile.
During your consultation at Norwell Oral Surgery and Dental Implant Center, Dr. Helal or Dr. Colton will talk with you about the reason for your visit and your treatment objectives. Using our Cone Beam 3D imaging system and digital intraoral cameras, our team will capture detailed images of your teeth, bone, and supporting structures to determine the most appropriate course of care. After a thorough evaluation, we will present you with a clear diagnosis and outline the recommended treatment options, ensuring the plan is customized to your specific situation. We will also discuss timelines, sedation options including nitrous oxide and IV sedation, as well as payment arrangements and financing through CareCredit.
After your treatment plan and financial details have been confirmed, our scheduling team will coordinate your upcoming appointments and provide an expected timeline for your care. Initial consultations generally last about one hour. Follow-up visits for post-operative evaluations are shorter, typically between 15 and 30 minutes, and our front desk will work with you to find appointment times that fit your schedule.
When arriving for your consultation, please remember to bring your insurance card if you have coverage, and try to arrive a few minutes early so you can complete any intake paperwork that has not already been submitted through our patient portal.
Our team at Norwell Oral Surgery is passionate about helping patients throughout the South Shore achieve optimal oral health. Whether you need wisdom teeth removal, dental implants, bone grafting, or another oral surgery procedure, we look forward to guiding you through the process with skill and compassion.
Every person who walks through our doors receives a treatment plan that is uniquely tailored to their needs. Dr. Helal and Dr. Colton bring years of specialized surgical experience to every case, and our entire staff is committed to delivering exceptional care in a comfortable, welcoming setting.
